I haven’t written in so long – years actually – but feel I am coming to a place in my life where I will be doing more blogging and more writing in general.  It feels like I am coming home to myself again.

So often when I write I am surprised at what ends up coming forth.  I find that the thoughts which express themselves are just waiting to be given the nod to enter the world of pen and paper or keystrokes.  Try sitting down today and see if that happens to you.  Begin with a prompt – just begin with “today” – see what happens.

The key really is to stay inspired…..

Go for a walk, or even just a drive – notice how the sun streams through the clouds .. or how the clouds themselves speak… or how that person you passed maybe needed a smile, maybe you just needed to sit with a notebook and jot down a thought or two…. maybe you need to look up new recipes… or become re-acquainted with an old book.

Whatever it is…. take the time to do that today….

Tonight my husband made incredible food, I prepared a

poetry facilitation, but no one came…. At first I was disappointed

until I realized that we must always do our best, even if no one notices.

Someday you may be entertaining the king unawares….

I just thought I’d write a quick blog as I head out this morning – I love September with it’s “new” feel – to me this feels more like the beginning of a new year than January… more on this later!  Jeanne
